Project overview

Creative Landscapes is a landscape design, construction and maintenance company in Bath, PA, serving the Lehigh Valley since 1986.

Cosmick Media built a custom WordPress website that leads with project photography and drives free consultation requests.

Project write-up

Creative Landscapes has been designing and building outdoor spaces in the Lehigh Valley since 1986. Founder Thomas Schray studied ornamental horticulture at Delaware Valley College, and the team still works out of a six-acre nursery near Bethlehem. Today they handle design, construction and maintenance for homes in Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton and beyond. For a landscaping website design, that’s a lot of great work to show off.

We built the Creative Landscapes website on a custom WordPress theme. Its job is simple: show off the work and turn visitors into consultation requests.

What they needed

Landscaping is a visual sale. For example, homeowners want to see patios, outdoor kitchens and pools before they call. However, a photo-heavy site can easily turn slow and cluttered.

Creative Landscapes also needed the site to do more than sell. They hire every season, collect reviews and publish articles. All of that had to fit without crowding out the main message.

Our landscaping website design

We let the photography lead. For that reason, every main page opens with a full-width image of a finished project, such as a stone walkway, a brick fire pit patio or a curving garden path. The homepage tagline sets the tone: “Creativity. Quality. Experience. Landscapes for Living.”

The header keeps the essentials in view at all times:

  • Phone number and Bath, PA address
  • A search bar for services and articles
  • A bright “Free Consultation” button

Content that answers real questions

First, the Services page covers hardscaping, outdoor grills and kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits, design, and pools, waterfalls and water features. The homepage explains the design process, from the on-site meeting to detailed 3D landscape renderings, so homeowners know what to expect.

Meanwhile, the About page tells the company story and introduces the team. A Testimonials page also shows star-rated reviews from long-time clients.

Built-in tools for growth

The site also works hard behind the scenes. Gravity Forms powers the consultation and job application forms, and Groundhogg manages follow-up with new leads. A Careers page lists open roles, like crew member, crew leader and landscape designer, each with an Apply Now button. An AI chat assistant answers common questions any time of day.

On mobile, the Free Consultation button sits right under the search bar, so it’s never more than a tap away.

Landscaping website design that sells the work

Creative Landscapes has a site that looks as polished as its projects. In short, it sells with photos, explains the process in plain words and makes it easy to book a consultation or apply for a job.

The challenge

What the client brought to us.

Landscaping is a visual sale, but photo-heavy sites can get slow and cluttered.

The company also needed room for hiring, reviews and articles without diluting its main message.

Our approach

How we tackled it.

We built a custom theme with full-width project photos, a fixed header with phone, address, search and a Free Consultation button, and clear pages for services, testimonials, careers and insights.

Gravity Forms and Groundhogg handle consultation requests, job applications and lead follow-up, and an AI chat assistant answers common questions.
