Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Choice Properties is a real estate office on South Main Street in Nazareth, Pennsylvania. Owner Dave Lichtenwalner has been with the office since 1980, and his team helps buyers and sellers across the Lehigh Valley. Our real estate brokerage website design gives that local team a strong home online.

We built the Choice Properties website on a custom WordPress theme, designed to match the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices brand while putting this local office front and center.

What the office needed

Home buyers start online, and they expect to search listings right away. At the same time, a local brokerage has to stand out from national portals. Instead, its edge is local knowledge and real people.

So the site needed to do two things well. First, make property search fast and easy. Second, show why working with a hometown office in Nazareth is the better choice.

The header keeps the direct phone number and street address visible on every page. A deep plum navigation bar, in line with the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices palette, leads to the pages buyers and sellers use most:

• Property Search, powered by IDX Broker
• Our Listings, a grid of the office’s current homes with photos, addresses and prices
• Our Agents, with a bio, photo and direct contact info for each agent
• Area Info, School Districts and Relocation guides

Tools that keep buyers on the site

We added a built-in mortgage calculator that opens in a pop-up from the main menu. That way, buyers can enter a rate, term, loan amount and down payment and see a monthly payment in seconds, without leaving the page they’re on.

Every inner page also has a sidebar with a quick zip code search and a short contact form. As a result, a visitor can start a search or reach an agent from anywhere on the site.

Local guides that build trust

The Area Info page lists nearby attractions, arts and culture, and communities across Northampton County. Similarly, the School Districts page covers public, private and parochial options. These pages help relocating buyers and also give search engines plenty of local content.

Finally, a Customer Reviews page shows star-rated feedback, and an accessibility tool is available on every page.
