Project overview

Laslo Custom Kitchens is a family-owned kitchen and bath remodeler in Easton, Pennsylvania. Richard Laslo founded the company in 1973, and today he runs it with his son, Neil, out of a 16,000 square foot facility. We handled the kitchen remodeler website design and a supporting marketing campaign for the Laslo Kitchens website.

Laslo builds custom cabinetry in its own Easton workshop, but it also remodels full kitchens and baths, builds bars and closets, and offers Dura Supreme and Fabuwood lines for tighter budgets. That is a lot to explain. Homeowners also want to see finished rooms before they pick up the phone. So the site had to let the photography do most of the selling while keeping a free consultation one click away.

Kitchen remodeler website design that puts the work first

People shopping for a remodel compare portfolios long before they compare prices. For instance, one reviewer on the homepage mentions collecting three quotes for custom cabinets before choosing Laslo. Therefore the main job of the site is to show the craftsmanship clearly and back it up with real reviews.

We kept the design quiet so the rooms stand out. A charcoal header holds the Laslo logo, Prata serif headings give the pages a classic furniture maker feel, and Work Sans keeps the body copy easy to read. Plus, a slim top bar keeps the Easton address, phone number and text line visible on every page.

A portfolio-led site with a clear path to a consultation

Every section points back to finished projects or to a conversation with the design team. Here is what it includes:

  • Four portfolio categories. Kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, bar cabinetry and custom remodels each have their own gallery, so a homeowner planning a wet bar does not have to dig through kitchens.
  • Financing page. Affordable Financing walks through the GreenSky application in four steps and explains both the no interest if paid in full plan and the long term fixed rate plan.
  • Google reviews block. Reviews pulled from Google show Laslo’s 5.0 rating across 72 reviews when we checked.
  • Call or text from any page. The header offers the showroom phone number and a separate text line, so visitors can reach the team however they prefer.
  • Company story pages. About Us, careers, a referral program, a Make-A-Wish giving back page and a news blog round out the trust content.

Built for the service area

Likewise, the footer lists the Pennsylvania and New Jersey towns Laslo serves, from Allentown and Bethlehem to Levittown and Warwick, along with both state contractor registration numbers.

Easy to update between projects

The site runs on WordPress with a custom Genesis block theme, hosted on WP Engine behind Cloudflare. As a result, Laslo’s team can add new project photos and blog posts as jobs wrap up. In addition, consultation requests flow into a Pipedrive web form.
