Project overview

Dynalene develops, manufactures and distributes heat transfer fluids, fluid cleaning equipment and laboratory services. The company is headquartered in Whitehall, Pennsylvania, with facilities in Chicago and Salt Lake City and more than 30 years of research behind its products. We handled the heat transfer fluids website design, development and marketing support for the Dynalene website.

Dynalene customers are engineers. They need temperature ranges, chemistry, data sheets and a way to order or ask for a custom fluid. Some buy online, others need a quote. So the site had to work as a technical library and a working store.

A heat transfer fluids website for engineers and buyers

For instance, a data center team comparing direct to chip coolants needs very different details than a plant buying a drum of propylene glycol. Both need to find the right fluid fast and trust the specs.

The design follows the Dynalene wordmark, a strong blue with a red and purple gradient on the letter E. Clean white pages, blue tables and simple product photos keep the focus on the data. In addition, the tagline “Tomorrow’s Solutions Flow Through Us” ties the pages together.

Technical tools plus a WooCommerce store

We built the site around how engineers research and buy. Here is what it includes:

  • Product categories by chemistry. Propylene and ethylene glycol series, BioGlycol, Solar Glycol XT, the HC series, MV, HF-LO, molten salts and more each have their own category.
  • Fluid Selection Guide. A comparison table lists every fluid with low and high temperature, flash point, chemistry, toxicity and biodegradability.
  • Fluid Property Calculation tool. Engineers can look up fluid properties directly on the site.
  • eLibrary. One place to download SDSs, technical data sheets and engineering guides for every Dynalene fluid.
  • Online ordering. WooCommerce handles carts, accounts, quantity rules, conditional shipping and card payments through Authorize.Net.
  • Quote and sample forms. Quick Quote, Talk to an Engineer and Submit Fluid Sample forms open from any page.

Data center and lab services

Likewise, a dedicated Data Center Solutions section covers direct to chip and immersion coolants. Lab Services links to the separate Dynalene Labs site.

Easy to keep current

The site runs on WordPress with Elementor Pro and the Astra theme, hosted on WP Engine behind Cloudflare. As a result, the Dynalene team can post news, add data sheets and update products without waiting on a developer.
