Cosmick Media partnered with Hydra-Tech, a U.S.-based manufacturer of hydraulically driven submersible pumps and power units, to transform its online presence through a full website redevelopment and integrated digital marketing program. The initiative focused on improving Hydra-Tech’s customer experience, product visibility, and lead generation capabilities. Built on WordPress with WooCommerce, the new site introduced a modern, mobile-first design that streamlined navigation, simplified product discovery, and elevated the brand’s presentation to match its reputation for engineering excellence. To achieve this, we implemented custom CSS for a cohesive, accessible design system and modular JavaScript for faster, more intuitive interactions (e.g., filter UIs, spec-sheet toggles, and lazy-loading). On the back end, bespoke PHP templates and functions extended WooCommerce and WordPress, handling custom product attributes, downloadable resources, schema markup, and Gravity Forms logic while optimizing queries and caching for performance at scale.
The project combined website redevelopment with a robust digital advertising strategy across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, extending Hydra-Tech’s reach to industrial buyers and distributors nationwide. Cosmick Media conducted market and competitor analysis to guide design, messaging, and targeting, then developed three custom design concepts emphasizing usability, conversion, and technical depth. The final site included advanced, PHP-driven product filtering by specifications, custom JS components for quick comparisons, downloadable spec sheets generated from structured data, a resource dashboard with role-based access, and Gravity Forms with custom validation and routing. With integrated ad tracking, event instrumentation, and ongoing optimization, Hydra-Tech’s website and paid campaigns now operate as a unified growth system driving qualified traffic, improving engagement, and reinforcing the company’s leadership in hydraulic pump manufacturing.
